All are welcome at the launch of Roger Thomas’s new book on the archaeology of Abingdon “England’s Oldest Town?”
It’s on Thursday July 9th at 7 pm. in St.Helen’s Church, Abingdon OX14 1BS.
Doors open at 7pm with a short talk by the author at 7.30pm.
All are welcome: entry is free.
Refreshments are available and any donations are welcomed.
The book will be available to purchase on special offer.

The Abingdon Area Archaeology and History Society, founded in 1968 and widely known as ‘AAAHS’, is the group for anyone interested in archaeology and local history in Abingdon and beyond.
We organise monthly talks on archaeological and historical topics, particularly relating to Abingdon and Oxfordshire. We also organise visits to local places of historic interest in the summer months for AAAHS members.
